COMPLETE OVERVIEW OF CEMENT MANUFACTURING AND NEGATIVE IMPACTS TO THE ENVIRONMENT: http://www.wbcsd.org/web/projects/cement/tf2/cementconc.pdf I am providing this video to give better insight as to the "runoff" effect(S) that, according to test results, indicate that the PH in several areas close to the Cement Kiln Dust Pile is or was exceeding State Standards, to my knowledge. Also, I had overlooked the "substance" which is depicted at the Route 131 Railroad Tracks. This "substance" appears to be "melted" rock, or some kind of "waste" material that is spewn ALL OVER the RR beds. As I noted, I was at NO time Trespassing, and did not "Walk" down the tracks, besides who would want to get run over by a train?. I was merely 3to4 feet from the roadway where I picked up that piece of melted substance. It should be thoroughly tested (like everything else around here) for chemical composition as it appears to be of an unknown origin. My guess is that it is from the inside of the Cement Kiln(waste), or from what is or has been burned to heat the limestone in the kiln? It is literally scattered everywhere you look on the side of the tracks. The Water there is really horrible looking, and to think that anything would not become ill from drinking it is unimaginable (in my opinion). As for the Shipping Terminal, the rail cars that you see are obviously covered with the "Portland" cement that is a very fine powder (or so I believe that is what they contain), and it stands to reason the "un-cleaned" rail cars, when "bumped" or moving, would cause the "powdery" cement dust to be dispersed/fall off all along the railroad tracks which would then enter the "stagnant" water which in turn the "critters" most likely drink from (as I have seen Wild Turkeys do, and Deer) fairly regularly. That doesn't seem very environmentally safe to me or fair to those animals, and I don't see how it could even be considered "safe".
